On returning to Australia I had a lot of photographers telling me "you need to go niche, it's not like Hong Kong". The recommendation was to specialise in one area of photography...weddings, portraits, real estate, sport, etc. They  are probably right, it does sound logical from a business point of view....but very boring form a life point of view.
